Phase 1 of the Edmonton Edge Fund supports businesses in their efforts to start, scale and grow in Edmonton
Program Overview:
The City of Edmonton has allocated $5 million to the administration of Phase 1 of the Edmonton Edge Fund. Phase 1 of the program is designed to address a current gap in funding available to innovators and entrepreneurs operating in or entering the Edmonton market. Funding will be offered in the form of project-based grants through the following 2 streams:
- Start Stream
- Scale & Grow Stream
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for funding, applicants must:
- Be a registered business or non-profit organization that holds a mandate related to economic growth and development to be eligible for funding
- Have a valid City business licence or have plans to obtain one by the time of project completion
