As Technology Alberta enters into our Annual Strategic Planning Discussions with Alberta tech company and community leaders, we are reminded – what a difference your input makes!

– From these meetings in 2023, we were able to launch regular partnered events with companies, post-secondaries, and ecosystem partners – focused on our three core pillars of Knowledge, Talent, and Community:

– Knowledge: Leadership and Learning-Integrated-Work courses, industry reports, and/or tours with organizations, including the University of Alberta, MacEwan University, Mount Royal University, Open Learning Lab, Red Deer Polytechnic, University of Calgary, University of Lethbridge, Lethbridge College, and more.

– Talent: Work-Integrated-Learning programs (FIRST Jobs) and increased talent attraction and retention support through ABTEC5000 throughout our Social Media (now at 16,000 on our channels combined – Linked-In and E-newsletters), featuring over 500 opportunities with Alberta tech Companies last year

– Community: Regular Monthly Community Events across Alberta – launched in partnership with Alberta Tech Companies and Community Partners: From Companies like RunWithIT, Dark Horse Analytics, Health Gauge to Events with Amii and conferences in Lethbridge, Red Deer, and Olds, and supporting Accelerators, Facilitiies, and of course the ASTech Gala in Calgary!
