October is proving to be one of the busiest months of the year:
- Nominations are open for the StartAlberta Awards (Nominations Deadline Oct 11; Event Nov 16)
- Edmonton Regional Innovation Network is accepting submissions for Community Initiatives
- Startup Week Events: Edmonton Oct 19-23; Calgary Nov 17 Launch Party
- And it is always great to see our tech sector continue to grow – evidenced by our monthly feature of over 20 Alberta tech companies (ABTEC2000) that are actively hiring – together creating over 2000 new jobs in the advanced technology space this year in Alberta.
There is also a lot of news from the Government of Alberta – and the stronger focus on growing the tech sector. Do you have any ideas on tech programs and policies that would help grow the economy?
