About Alberta Tech
Over a thousand tech companies exist in Alberta but how many Albertans can name more than a few? Even for those of us in the tech industry, it can be hard to keep up.
At About Alberta Tech, the goal is to introduce Albertans to Alberta Tech companies. Why did they start? Where did they start? What are they growing towards? And most importantly,
how are they positively impacting Alberta, and helping our province diversify.
Advanced Technology Development Group
Founded in 2007, ACAMP is a unique industry-led advanced technology product development centre that entrepreneurs count on to move their innovation from proof-of-concept to manufactured product by providing access to multidisciplinary engineers, technology experts, unique specialized equipment, and industry acumen.
We focus on electronics hardware, firmware, software (ML/AI), sensors, and embedded systems. We are the only advanced technology product development group in Canada that provides a full range of support at each stage of the product development process.

The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta
Created on April 10, 1920, APEGA regulates the practices of engineering and geoscience in Alberta on behalf of the Government of Alberta through the Engineering and Geoscience Professions Act.

Alberta Women’s Science Network

Cybera is Alberta’s not-for-profit organization, responsible for driving economic growth through the use of digital technology. Our core role is to oversee the development and operations of Alberta’s cyberinfrastructure – the advanced system of networks and computers that keep government, educators, not-for-profits, and entrepreneurs at the forefront of technological change.
